Fitzmaurice Street road closure

Saturday 7 November 2026 | 4.30pm–10.30pm

Fitzmaurice Street will be closed to vehicles between Wollundry Bridge and Crampton Street for the STREET x STREET Saturday evening activities.

The street will remain open to pedestrians throughout the closure.

Detours will be in place via Crampton Street, Trail Street, Tarcutta Street, Morrow Street and Ivan Jack Drive.

There are several parking options within walking distance of Fitzmaurice Street.

On-street parking is available in surrounding streets, including:

• Johnston Street

• Gurwood Street

• Kincaid Street

• Crampton Street

Nearby Council car parks include:

• Barrand Street, between Kincaid Street and Trail Street

• Trail Street, near Forum 6 Cinemas and Vortex

• Corner of Fitzmaurice Street and Crampton Street, next to Mr Lawrence

Please note that there will be no on-street parking on Fitzmaurice Street between Wollundry Bridge and Crampton Street during the road closure.
